Today we had tuakana tenia with kowhai class. We were supposed to teach our buddys to skip. My buddy was kay and he was quite shy! But we got him to jump over some skipping ropes laying on the floor. After skipping we had a relay we had to do grape vine speed walk and running relays! My team came 2 in all of them!

To NZopera and the Tuner Centre 

My favorite character was Belcore because he was always finding a way to rark up the audience and he made the play generally funner.

 What surprised me was that I could hear everything they were saying even though I was quite far away from them. Also how the singer for Nemorino and Adina learnt their parts in under 4 days. 

I liked how the girl gradually got more of a liking for Nemorino and I also liked how at the very end the name of the shop switched to the beginning of Nemorino.

 What helped me understand the production was the fact that the piano didn’t overpower the singers even though I could hear the tunes from the piano really well.

SWIMMING SPORTS 2025

Yesterday at 🏫 we had 🏊⚽ I wasn’t as 😟 as my other 👬👬 although I was still slightly 😟 I got changed. Into my 🩳 and 🪑⬇️ waiting for my turn to 🏊. We had free style first and once my 🧑‍🏫 said year 8 👬 my friends teeth were 🥶 shut. I told him that it didn’t matter if he🏅or lost. Once we got into position the 🧑‍🏫 blew her whistle and we all dove in. After the race ended I 😟 waited for the results and I was 🥈! Which I was really happy about and then my next  race I was also 🥈.  

during our bp challenge  we were tasked to create a contraption wich allowed us to grab a tennis ball in a container from a meter and a half away my teams creation got it in… 5 seconds! wich we were proud about. my team was olvia, eko, riley, and me charley. we had to make our creation out of news paper, popsicle sticks, tape, string, and cardboard.

Term 2 reflection 2024

This term I have been proud of the following achievements.

In reading I have been reading a lot at home. And I have been expanding my vocabulary.   

In writing this term I have been extending my writing ideas.  

In maths I have been learning algebra and becoming better at division.  

In PE this term I … have been enjoying ball Frenzie  and dodgeball 

During our inquiry of Matariki I  didn’t enjoy… creating lots of slides with information. 

In art … I didn’t enjoy creating the pictures because I had to make everything accurate.
