Tessellation art

yesterday for our pet day art we made Tessellation art. Tessellation art covers the hole page and is made up of animals in a diamond like shape. We were supposed to make it into a pattern but all my faces were different but my teacher didn’t really care so long as the colours were in a pattern. I didn’t win anything from my Tessellation art for pet day but it was still fun to make.

tuakana teina

today for tuakana teina we started off with some skipping to warm up. and then our teina had to find the rocks that our class hid around the school. mine and kodins teina was running around pointing out rocks and then running again. at the end of it he found 35 out of the 37 of the rocks our class hid In the time limit. It was a fun day!

for pet day we had to make some art and one of the art pictures we had to make was our snail art, we had to theme our snail and my snails theme was a videogame snail! its shell was replaced as a controller and it was green as well. their were some other really good snails here are some of my favorites rugby snail, space snail, Gary snail, and cinmon snail.

pet day

yesterday was pet day. in the morning we looked at all the classes pet day art and some were really good! after looking at all the other classes art we came into our class to see who won… And I came second for my name art! after that we went into the hall to look at some pets in the hall there were cats, chickens, and even guinea pigs! after lunch we had the dog race and the goats/cow race after lunch. the cow/goat race was kind of boring but the dog race was fun. in conclusion the pet day was good.

name art

in term 1 we made name art over a week of time. name art is almost like a optical illusion because of how the letters go out from the middle. I enjoyed making my name art and I even got a prize for it for pet day. Here is how to make name art:

  1. fold your piece of paper 4 times
  2. write your name going out from the middle in all 8 folds
  3. colour it in.
  4. and your done!
